Has anyone received their OCI from Washington in the last month?

Received: 2/15/07

Acknowledged: 3/2/07

Shows "Under Process" with no progress...

acknowledged -- Apr 10. 2007
scanned pics -- Apr 30. 2007
registration status granted --
documents printed --
Documents Despatched From Delhi --
Documents Received --
Mailed US & IND Passport --
Received all docs --

No confirmation of receipt

I mailed my docs to DC on May27th. I did not get back the green acknowledgement card from the Post office. The status shows "Not acknowledged" .

Is the number after the USAW a I or 1? I wish they would add the acknowledged date quicker than this>

It is USAWI and followed by 10XXXXX
 
Well finally something moved:

Received: 2/15/07

Acknowledged: 3/2/07

Shows "Under Process" with photo scanned on April 17
 
I checked this right after I mailed them a letter. I walked over to the mailbox to retrieve it, but it was already gone... lol!

Maybe the rest of you will see some movement soon. Post your updates...

Looks like you are a week or so behind me. If nothing happens by next Monday, call them and leave a very polite message and/or send an email.

I will do the same. In the mean time are you planning to send the passport by mail or in person when they recv your documents at DC? Is it even an option to go personally?
 
Yes, it IS an option to go there personally.

However, they don't accept the passports before at least a week after the documents have been received here in DC. My OCI documents were received in DC on the 9th of April, but when I went there on the 10th, they asked me to come back after a week. So I went there again this morning and submitted my passports. They said I can collect them all back tomorrow evening. So one more day and I will hopefully be done with the immigration departments in two countries, for a while at least!

By the way I just checked the status and it seems the registration is "not granted" but documents are "scanned".

Anyone in the same situation???

I'm not going to burn a day of vacation time to go to DC... I will Fedex the passports...
