Any news on the 'Freeze' front

I guess people are no

more thinking about 485's. All they think of is HINDU/MUSLIM/INDIA/PAKISTAN and all the special words...
Sad but true.
Coming to your question, no one knows the answer. Let's hope for the best and continue with our lives.

It is so disgusting that more than half of the users logging into this forum are interested in discussions which involve criticizing the neighboring countries and religions. If someone posts a message about Religion there would be tons of replies but on the other hand if someone has a genuine question regarding immigration, no one’s bothered. It used to be different.
I wish moderator of this forum takes a more vigorous action.

GOOD NEWS
Looks like there is a approval today.
Go to rupnet.com and see for yourself.
Let's hope now the wheel of approvals starts moving

Only news

seems to be from the Murthy bulletin. It said that only age-out cases are being dealt with and that the number of other approvals is negligible. It also indicates that no one knows when this will be resolved. Problems continue with the proposed checking procedure. There is no mention of any approximate date or at least I couldnt find it.

I guess it means more waiting.

Oh well!

GCNJ : I looked up the approval. Its the "Chandra" again. But this time with a LIN instead of EAC. I have a feeling that this is the work of a sick person who wants to give false hope to people. And judging by the EB3 and the way other things are written in the chandra posting... I have a good idea who that sicko might be and I think someone did post a good probable candidate!

The rupnet case is old one.I think he/she forgot to update and doing it now. see the AD 11/07.

What exactly is happening at at INS? is it due to the Homland Security thing? or a 'software' upgrade? Are they still processing cases before they get those FBI/CIA cleareances?

So now there will be a new tracker for those who are approved but waiting FBI/CIA clearence, I guess....

Shouldve gone for the Consular Processing, Darn!!!

sunny J.

Consular Processing is still subject to this security clearance, as well as Naturalization cases. All in the same boat. That's nothing we can do but waiting.
