Any news for AP in California?

Hi guys,

We are still waiting for an AP which receipt date is the 1st of October 2002 (wac03...).

We stopped calling the INS, because they were saying two many different versions.

We want to travel in January and we already postponed our tickets.

It is now a month we should have get the approval.
Does anyone can help us?
Any news or explanation of the delays is very welcome, because our attorney knows nothing about it.

I got my ap rd 10/17

My friend,

I got my ap and i had date of 10/17/2002. My wife had RFE
and she still does not have it. INS is way past oct 2002
in processing AP's. Check with your lawyers.
 
My 2nd AP ND is Oct 16 , didn't receive

My 2nd AP ND is Oct 16 2002 , we still didn't receive anything yet.
Also my collegue has Oct 9 2002 ND for AP. He is still waiting too

Check AVM

I just checked AVM by chance , it says AP is approved on Dec 11.
INS Online Web still gives old crappy message. My worry is now, whether I lost my AP? ( 14 days are passed)
 
I had the same receipt date as you for my AP (1st Oct, 2002). I received my AP about a month ago. Actually my lawyer did and they mailed it to me. So you might want to check with your lawyer and see if they have received it instead of you.

Interestingly the online case status still shows my AP as pending approval so obviously it has no syncronization with the current state of affairs. I suggest you try the AVM or talk to an IIO as to the status of your particular case.

Hard luck on having to change your vacation plans because of all this "Ring-a-Ring-a-Roses", but that is INS for you.

I got my AP approved RD 11/14

I got my AP approved on December 23 RD 11/14 as per online status.
 
and finally... approved!

This case has been approved. On December 30, 2002, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours.
