Any namecheck stuck approvals without WOM?

As a namecheck victim, I'd like to know one thing: Does every namecheck case need to be fought tooth and nail before getting the approval?

Aren't there any cases which were delayed by just a few months due to the namecheck issue and were approved later?

Do ALL namecheck issues get stuck in a forever blackhole and won't be approved without going to war with the USCIS?

i think its not true...that every namecheck gets cleared only by pro-active action by candidate....

only people who have unusual delay and willing to fight come to forums....hence we get the wrong feeling that most name check have to be fought....

i have seen 3-4 people from taiwan waiting since 2-3 years stuck in name check.........even though i know thats not a average.....that does looke like the other extreme.....

I think i will wait one year.....and then i will start the fight...

i am sure that 80% of cases stuck in name check must be getting cleared in 2 years time....without any action from candidate.....

but what to say......that we the lucky ones will not fall in the other 20% category.....since there is not time limit for FBI.........they may go on for five years also....

My NC was sent to the FBI last May.
I don't want to wait for 2-3 years and hence am being aggressive.
I talked to an attorney who advised that I should wait for at least a year and suggested that I talk to him again in April and we can see what we need to do about it.
