Me too...I am not clear why I haven't received my 2nd FP.
But I guess because of retrogression of priority dates mine is May 2002.
1st FP May '03

Hmmm that is strange....You can call up the 1-800 number and ask the rep to schedule FP2 as your FP1 has expired. I have heard people doing that before. Good Luck

Thanks coolchap. I will try doing that. Although it probably depends on how helpful the customer rep is!!

Hi Abhi485,

Good to know some one else in the same boat. What is your PD? Are you EB2/EB3?

Thanks.

I don't think retrogression affects Filing date for a particular month, its only for priority dates (Labor filing date). Atleast you have rec'd 2nd FP....You should hear something positive soon. Some of us have not even rec'd our 2nd FP yet.

Please advise how can I request my FP2...
I'm single & planning to get married before my case is approved. I'm worried that my mistake my case can be approved without FP2 as we've seen in the past. Due to rush at Delhi embassy its taking 64 days to get an appointment. I'm desperately waiting for my FP2 because if I get my FP2 I can delay giving my FP2 until I get married as they can't approve my case without fingerprints.
I'm worried may be they have INCREASED the expiry period od FP from 15 months to some longer period. Anyone has any idea on this?
I'm really worried.please advise...

rs_mangat,

Hi there

I tried calling the 1-800 ...number to see if I may be able to request an FP2 since my FP1 expired several months ago.....but I was told I cannot do that.I was told to wait patiently....probably this person does not know the meaning of the word "patience"!!! Anyway....what makes you think they will approve a
case without seconf fp even if the first on has expired? Have you read any where about they extending the FP1 duration more than Fifteen months? If so such a news would definitely have come up by now. So I think you should not worry ..Keep us updated.

Good Luck.
