Any manual FP approvals??

I am one of those who called and got the FP on Feb 2003. My 485 ND is 04/23/2002 and the FP date is 02/03/2003.

I was wondering if anyone who did manual FP like this by calling got approval? Because to me it looks like only the persons who got the FP without calling are getting approved.

Cass.

I am one of the unfortunate souls on this board and my ND is Sep 2001. I believe I received my FP notice after series of phone calls to the TSC last year. In other words it was scheduled manually (at least that is what I think). It seems these cases are still in jeopardy. Everybody says I485 is FP driven (even TSC says that) but it seems in TSC's computer such manually-scheduled FPs don't show-up probably. I am now entering my 9th month following my FP. God knows when this frustration will end!

I believe many 2001 filers (at least on this forum) including me called TSC to ask for FP. However, there are very few 2001 approvals lately (less than 2002 approvals) to draw a conclusion on these manual asked FP notices. How do you know they do not show up in TSC computer. Before when I called TSC and now when I called National Customer Service they both told me the same information (FP received, process resumed) as online. That means they do have a database showing the FP results.

manual FPs are not going through approvals yet.

It is true that manual FP(the ones we called requested and got) shows up on their system. But somehow only those automatically triggered by their system are getting approved. I think there is some other process before FP which triggers FP and then the application is approved some time after FP is done.

Fo the manual FPs this process is not triggered, we called and received our FP and the application goes back to sleep after that. This is my opinion. I hope that I am wrong, but the pattern right now seems to be this way. I feel that many who did manual FPs are getting second FP when the sytem acutally gets triggered by the process. May be we should all do the second FP when we get it and hope for approval after that.

I have the same concern but everything with TSC is so random and you never know what happens such as what can trigger a FP etc. All I was saying is that we only got very few approvals lately and it is hard to draw a pattern. I also remember someone posted his friends' approvals SRC01-280XXXXX and he said they called TSC to ask for FP as well. One thing did concern me was that when I got my FP notice (after so many people called), my lawyer did not get one as they are supposed to? Did your lawyer get a duplicate copy of the FP notices? Did lawyer supposed to get a copy or is it random as well?
