Any LIN-02* filers still waiting

Hi PiyushInd!
Did you receive any RFE or atleast something ? Did you contact any senator/congressman ? I really dont understand what's wrong with USCIS. People from 2003 are also getting their approvals and we still are not able to get out of this nightmare. Anyways, good luck to you. Hope we'll the light soon..

Hi NSC121901,
Well, i did recd. RFE via phone from INS officer to my lawyer. I never recd. notice or anything on the paper. Also, i contacted both senators few months back and they both had same answer that it is under name check seciruty clearance. Nothing else. My FP was cleared back in Jan. 2003.
So wait & watch. But i'm planning to contact new senator as soon as my 4th EAD will approve.
But i'm hoping our cases will be approve soon.

Second RFE for Primary Oct, 20, 2004. Misplaced in mail. Received by attorney after 3 weeks. At this point we are in no rush to reply. We expect to file the response by December end. Last time we had the RFE we took great pains to file ASAP. Two months after NSC received the reply they sent a second RFE totally different from the first one. First one was about Birth certificates and parentage.
This one is to show "Conditions for continued employment in the field of National Interest waiver still exist". Whatever. They could have asked for it with the first RFE. But they just don't care. But at this point neither do we.Next update will be after we file the response. I rarely visit this site anymore. Although it has been extremely helpful, I feel I need a break from this day to day follow-up.
I am grateful to everyone for sharing their experiences.
