Any Jul/Aug 2001 still pending ?

Is anyone applied I-485 in 2001 still waiting for approval ? I always get reply from INS saying that they are waiting for Security check clearance.
I contacted Senotors/congresssmen...no luck. I contacted FBI....and they said it was cleared in Dec 2002. I am not sure where it is stuck.

This is really unbelievable. I also read in your previous posts that you are from India. What is so unique about your name. If they are still telling you that name check is not done.
Have you talked to any Congress Man and seen if they could help you out.
