Kamya got her citizenship and then ignored this link. She now sells greeting cards and such on her site. Having said that.... the naturalization experiences link I posted is useful because it has detailed descriptions of experiences. The time line might not be valid any more, but the experiences still helps many.

I had my interview and oath in Boston all within about a month of each other earlier this year. The interview was very straightforward, so there's no need to worry about it if you have a clean case. From what I saw on that day, most people got their oath letter on the same day as the interview.

thanks, gabby
i passed my interview fine...i did not get the oath letter though because the interview said my name needed to clear and after that happens i would receive the letter in the mail. it has been 2.5 months now and still nothing.

I would suggest that you go to USCIS in Boston to ask about your case. They were quite helpful when I went to inquire about my case last year.

I have heard the same from others. The USCIS officers and admin staff are usually very helpful. But I could caution against visiting the USCIS office to inquire status often. If some one needs explaination, I will give details.

thanks, i will wait another 2 weeks and then go there
it sounds like when i call ins, the customer service reps are nice too, but they can't provide any details about the particular case, they just generalize.
