any ideas on how to work without EAD

Any ideas how to convince my employer not to release me from employment because my OPT expired and my EAD still in process, not even expecting it soon, as I just sent my RFE. I really don't wanna loose my job at UCSD, please give me any ideas how to save my job.

I doubt they will keep you, its a risk both you and they take if they do..Good luck
