Any Ideas After Infopass?

Dear Asylees,

On 08/02/2007 I called the National Customer Service and informed them about my frustration on why my case was not adjudicate yet. A very nice lady over the phone took all the details and then told me that she'll issue an enquiry (which is so far already 3 inquiries was done in the past). But, nothing happen--received letter stating pending FBI namechecks. BTW, my file was handled at Nebraska Service Center.

Anyway, since tired of waiting I made an infopass appointment on the same day. My appointment was at 1:45pm. When I was called at counter # 11, I met with very nice young officer and again explained to him what had happened. Also informed him that I was told by the National Customer Service that at Infopass officers are able to check more info compared to customer service. That's prompted me to do infopass on the same day:)

After few minutes checking on the computer. He told me that an officer was assigned on file and now its at pre-adjudicate status. I should know if my application to adjust to LPR approve or denied and I should receive an answer within 30-60 days. I felt relief for a bit, but I never beleive it until it really happen. So, is there anyone in this forum have similar situation as mine and what happen next? Is this really true that my long overdue for LPR is coming soon? Please God help me on this immigration matter-- It's been far too long.

Thank you for reading your input is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

I wish that your hope won't be betrayed. But I bet if you would do another info pass, another immigration officer will tell you something different. They are not consistent, they don't know unless he or she personally is handling your case.
Good Luck.
