Any idea when this drought will end?

Any one heard from Lawyers, websites, friends or anything at all?

This inactivity is becoming a pain in the habib!

spoke to Lawyer

They are saying, they had some approvals last week, also
saying they contacted INS yesterday to find out actual facts
about possible seize on approvals. They were told it's just the
extra layer of security scrutiny at the end, hence delay.

Hope this is true??

I dont know about the approvals

They are probably referring to non 485s. Those are happening... its only the 485s.

I dont know how long this upgrade will take. Its been about 3 weeks since we saw any approval.

Its just terrible!

This INS has brought confusion and pain in everyone's life. I sometimes really wonder if its worth living in this country when the young and active age is gone in sorting out unnecessary trouble in life. :mad:

Similar thoughts hang over me, too sometimes. Especially, in this state of economy job loss might become imminent and new job prospects with similar job description are next to rare.

I heard (this is unconfirmed and might be rumor - so don't panic) that even if they start approvals, cases will be delayed too much. FBI was used to notifying INS only for "criminal record may exist" cases. For other cases, FBI would communicate nothing to the INS and the INS used to approve such cases. Now (according to this rumor) INS will not approve a case until a definite (yes or no record type) response from the FBI is received. This could add up another couple of months I guess.

Again, this is not a confirmed information. Let's see if anyone else here has any first hand "kind of" information either from their attorenys or from the IIOs.

I am very dispointed

I was on vacation from Nov.19. I didn't come here until my vacation was over. That was Nov 30. I was expected to see a flush of Nov. approvals. Instead, I saw nothing. Nothing at all. I have been comming to here every day. My dispointed feeling is increasing with each passing day. While at the same time, I can't do anything except praying.
God help us!
 
INS is still processing at normal speed, just not many approvals, all transfers and RFE. eac0205050547 was approved on Nov 27.

I think they are processing cases, for approvals, need wait the software installed. For transfers and RFE, don't need to wait for the software.

Rupnet doens't have a section for transfers. Only RFE and approvals. And ppl don't update RFE as approvals usually. That's why Rupnet numbres are not improving.
