Any idea what this message means ?

"On July 9, 2003, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made."

Anyone on the same situation as mine either now or before ?

If so can you tell me what is the next step in this process ?

Will I get a RFE or Approval?
 
I got the exact message including the date as july 9. I have no clue why the message has come up now. My FP was done on 11/02/02.

ND 10/17/02

The case status for my 485 petition has also changed to the exact same message. My spouse's message did not change. It remains the same with the standard '570-600 days' message.

We had both got our FP's done on 1/23/03 and they were sent to USCIS (formerly BCIS and INS when we had our FP's done) by FBI on 1/28/03.

It appears to me that BCIS has received the results of your Finger print evaluation from FBI recently (or somebody updated the site to reflect the receipt).

Hang on guys this is a good news that someone is looking into your files, and will ask for further evidence if needed .... or approval if everything is good. But whatever it is you'll be notified via mail.

Did all of you guys move or change address with BCIS 800 customer service number. I belive that has triggered the online system to get updated to the latest inform.

This is my thought.

My RD is 09/2002 and ND is 10/2002. I did FP on 11/2002. But I have not received yet any renewal notices on FP yet. Also I applied my EAD renewal on 07/2003. It has been more than 60 days. But no news yet. Don't know what to do about my FP or EAD renewal???

My current EAD expires on 11/05/2003.

People with Rd of 01/02 are still waiting for the approvals. I am not sure if we can attach any signifance to this message when the RD is 09/02.

Any thoughts?
 
My cases online status has been updated to the exact verbage since Nov 02. So dont put too much importance to it. It is just somebody's online status is updated . Thats all.

My RD is Oct 2002.
 
Our FP were completed in Oct 2002 too. No online update yet.
Hope something good is happeining with your applications....

mine online message is exactly same as your except the date they received it since March of 2002. I don't think it meant anything other than they pulled your file out of one waiting pile and put it into another waiting pile. You are probably one step closer, but you have 1,000,000 steps ahead of you.
