Any idea on when is the petition for 485 CSC going to be submitted.

Even if we submit the petition today - it will take at least a couple of months for CSC to take action, going by the speed that it moves.
From what I understand, a two year wait for 485 applicants is the longest that has been seen in at least a decade(of course, exceptions are always there). Officialy, the wait is already 1.5 years according to the JITand it has not moved in at least the past six months. By the time we petition is submitted an action taken (if that happens at all), most of the people will be celebrating the 2 years. Is there a quorum required before the petition is submitted?
There were other ideas that were (letter to senator) that were brought up on these boards. Did anyone write to the senator?
Any effect?

I did write to senator

Reaching the right person in senator's office is a pain. My call always went to Voice mail, which they hardly return. I tried everything including phone, faxes, email, and USPS mail. Nothing has worked so far in last 2 months.

After repeated calls, I could talk to one officer, who handles these cases.

And I was told that even their office had backlog of 6-8 weeks. So my application will be up on the heap only after 5-6 weeks (MINI-INS) And then they'll see if my case has an emergency (I don't know what that is? Loosing a job/out of status/Frustration is certainly not one of these). If it does, then they'll make an inquiry (which I could make right away) and pass the answer to me.

SO I LOST MY HOPES THERE AS WELL.
