Any Idea - how long to get Medical and Photos done ?

My I-140 got approved couple of weeks back, travelled to Canadian Border to get my I-94 straight. Now My Lawyer is getting the documents ready but has asked me not to go for Medical and Photos? I dont know how long this process takes on average? I mean from I-140 Approval to filing I-485?

I think you can go ahead with your medical exam.

It\'s good for one year. I wonder why your lawyer told you not to go ahead with the medical exam...

Why?

Why is your lawyer asking you NOT to get your photos and medical? Most immigrants don\'t necessarily have their immunization records in place and so you might take more than a week to get things in order. However, if your I-140 has been approved, then you should be filing your AOS asap. Which requires you to get your medical and photos asap. Is your lawyer withholding some info. from you or your employer?
