Any idea how long is it taking for AP approvals?

I applied in march 10th, got approved on sept 10th and got the papers three weeks later
 
I applied oin May and is still waiting. Wonder how long does
AP valid for? Is it one year from applying date or one year after the approval date? I couldn't believe it's taking so long to get AP approval...
 
It is 1 yr from approval date. I had filed on 1st april and got it approved on 29th sept. I just rec'd the docs on friday, they date on it is from 24th Sept.
 
Begin Date?

What is the begin date for your new AP?

1. Before the End date of the Old AP
2. After the End of the Old AP
3. One day after the End Date of Old AP.

In other words, did you loose time, gain time or was it neither of the two.

It appears as if these lazy bumms are approving for April applicants. May be you will see your's soon. All the best.

Ap renewal applied on 1st April 03
Online status says Approval notice MAILED on 29th Sep 03
Current AP valid from 24th Sep 03 to 24th Sep 04.
