Any idea how long his would take in NSC?

Need some input here folks!

My RD is Dec9/ND is Dec10 for my EAD application.
Called up NSC this Monday. IIO said the file is with an officer.

Any idea what this means? How long it would take for the appln to approved after it has been assigned to an officer?

Any inputs welcome
