Hi, my sister filed I-130 for my parents got the receipt in 9/01. Until today, we don't hear any update news. My parents are living in Hong Kong, and so my sister filed I-130 through CP. We don't know why my parents still haven't received any package from US Consulate in Hong Kong. It is 10 months past already. I have a friend who also applied family based immigration for her parents at the same time. And, they got I-485 approved in 5/02. I thought the process through CP (interivew in H.K.) is supposed faster than I-485 in here. But now it seems the case processing in here is much much faster than the oversea. My sister just called to CSC but the lady told her need to wait 815~825 days (printed on the receipt). If after 825 days still no answer, then she can call back CSC and check the case status. Also, that immigraiton officer is really ridiculous because she told my sister that she couldn't check the case because she did not have any computer in front of her.
Therefore, I would like to know is anyone who filed I-130 last year was already get approved and please post. Thanks!
