My case was filed in Oct 2002. I did have a typo on my last name's 1st letter and had asked my attorney and she told me " don't worry about the typo". My FP was done in Dec 2004 and I corrected the typo during FP. I did a case inquiry through 800 in early March and there is nothing happened so far. I also contacted a state senator three weeks ago and it was said that they are contacting related agency for me. I emailed to FBI on Jan 4, 2005 regarding name check issue and I haven't got any response back. I suspect that my case is stuck in name check due to the typo of wrong first letter on my last name. Any ideas, gurus?
