any extension of H1 visa required if the labor got cleared

Hai,

My current H1B visa will get expired in the coming march. If my labor got cleared before that and I have applied for the I-140 will I need to extend my visa. please reply for this..I dont know anything abt such an extension case. If I want to go outside US will the Advance parol is enough....
