ANY EXPERIENCES-PEOPLE WHO TRAVELLED TO INDIA VIA DUBAI(EMIRATES AIRLINES) using AP,

Lakshmi

Your question does not really belong here in this section of the forum -- it has nothing to do with Advance Parole etc --US immigration document like AP is for entering US, not for Dubai or some other country.

But anyway here is what my experience was at Dubai, when I was travelling in 2003:

If you want to wait at the Dubai airport I guess you need no visa (I travelled in 2003, things might have changed).

On the way back however, I had a 14 hr break between flights and the airline gave us free hotel/meal coupons.. Emirates airline office in Hyderabad gave us these coupons and we could get the transit visa stamped after reaching Dubai in a short line of wait. That was really nice as its a good hotel and we got to see a quick 2hr city tour also within that break period.

We recently travelled via Dubai on with AP. Nothing special, no questions asked unless your break is more than 8hrs. In which case you will have to get a tourist visa.

Its hassle free compared to other Euro transits.
