We have appointment for FP on Apr 04,2005 but my wife can not make it on this date as she is out of country. Is it a good idea to me go ahead and attend the fingerprint and reschedule my wife’s fingerprint.

Would like to know any of the experiences out there

thanks

I have just asked FP Resechdule at Boston ASC

I am in a similar situation. Our FP is scheduled on 04/14/05. But wife is planned to leave for India for 2 months on 03/28/05.

So I went to Boston ASC and (there is no place to even stand there, so crowded) requested reschedule for both of us.

The person at front desk told we should mail but because I am there he got the original notices with rescheduling information and said ASC will get back in one week.

A friend of mine had a similar problem. Both were out of country and the lawyer re-scheduled the FP date. The problem was that the rescheduled date was 4 months later.

So, both my friend and her husband went to the ASC as soon as they were in the country and the ASC officer let them give finger prints when they went in person to the office. So, as said by others in this forum (other threads), you can go anytime after your original appt, but safe side to reschedule it.
