Any experience with InfoPass in San Jose

I am planning to take a infopass appointment in San Jose. Does anyone have any experience with that. My case is pending for tooo long just thought to go there and check.

Does anyone went there, what papers do I need to carry.
 
Name Check Sucks

I also took an Inforpass in San Francisco, after being tired of this Name Check shit. It defies all logic...if they think that somebody is dangerous enough and not worth living in this country, then why the hell on the name of "Name Check" they are allowing these persons to stay in the country for 3-4 years ? What happens to Logical Reasoning when it reaches to these govt. departments. ..well..that was my frustration ...obviously not on you.

So, basically, if you are stuck in Name Check, Infopass is useless...as officer is only going to tell the same thing (that too if you ask for it..and let him know that you were previously stuck in name check and how does it look now...)...otherwise he is going to say....well..your application is in Laguna Niguel....thats it..
 
Went for the appointment and came to know that everything is cleared, FP, name check etc. Officer doesn't know why its getting delayed. any suggestion

I think the bigggets delay maker is Name Check..once that is cleared...it is just a matter of few months when you should see the approval..at least u can followup with USCIS...with name check....it is a perfect blackhole...

Did you do anything when you came to know about the name check...like did u contact congressman etc. ?
 
My Same Story

My Case is Similar to you as My Name is stuck in more than 3 1/2 years. I took Infopass Appointment and officer told me everything is clear and he dosent know why it is on hold,
also he told me that he will findout the case in Laguna Niguel office and call me but so far I haven't got any call from him. What I am planning to do is now I contacted the Litigation
lawyer and he can file law suit on USCIS I guess I have to see if I can win or not?


USCIS people are Just sitting on relaxing and not working on the people who are stuck on the namecheck. even after clearing the namecheck they are not approving the cases.
All the infopass appt are useless I dont see we get any information from them neither infopass works nor the customer service..

Currently I am following up with my lawyer and the local congressman. I am mentally prepared to file the lawsuit on usics on starting Nov22nd. If I get any luck I will let you know.
 
Thats correct man, till we will not get our approval we can't rely on these info.
 
My I-485 is with TSC...and I recently went for Infopass...
I am no longer staying in the TSC region but am in the VSC region...
but when I went for Infopass...the lady just said that, since you are not in the TSC region, she has no access to any information and she cannot give me any info and she just let me out...It was like...1 sec...it was done...I wasted my time going there!!!

Is that true that they do not have access to Information from other service centers?

I noticed that in your case, it looks like the rep from California could give you information on your case..

In my case they did gave response but can't truest the info, called 800 number and the representative told me NC is not cleared, but as per CSC its cleared. I don't know what to trust till get the approval. End of the day GC is still not cleared....
 
Try Laura Bush...
it seems to have helped a bit...in case of Driller/KJ...and both finished 2 years+ on 485...
Even Congressman/Senator may help confirm that your namecheck finished!
