Any experience in getting AP at San Jose Local Office?

My AP is pending at VSC for over 4 months. I recently moved to San Jose. Anybody with exp. plz post. Thnx.

It is very difficult to get emmergency AP at the local San Jose office.
If you prove your family emergency with a letter from a doctor in India then INS might give you a single entry AP for 30 days at the most.
They will never give multiple entry AP.

I have applied for mine at VSC, recently I moved to CA. My AP RD is Nov 3. It is over 120 days. I presume, given the circumstances it would be difficult to get regular AP at San jose?

Regular AP is not given at local San Jose office.
Only emergency AP with single entry for 30 days at the most.
Emergency AP is not guaranteed.
