Everyone knows ...
victim_of_INS,
It is no secret that the immigration process is a huge mess. Report after report can be generated but I do not see much happening for cases that have already been messed up. I agree that in the past year a lot of progress has been made but this applies to about 60-70% of the cases. The remaining 30-40% remain neglected. Infact its worse now for people whose cases have been botched by USCIS because if they complain then everyone shows them stats of drastic improvements in the number of approvals and they are politely asked to shut up because the majority of cases are being handled properly. I do not fault them though. I would probably be praising the USCIS to no end if my case was in the 60-70% of the equation. Unfortunately I am in the 30-40% split and know how badly cases and people can be treated. This situation has made it difficult for people like you and me to raise our voices even in this forum. If you post something about your problems you are guaranteed responses from atleast 4-5 people that will complain that you are worrying to much and that you should just wait your turn. You will even get responses that will tell you that TSC is working extremely hard and that everything is just and fair. I guess its easy to do that if the problem does not affect a person directly. Again, all opinions are formulated on personal experience.
Anyway, let us continue the fight and try to do what we can. We cannot rely on a report to get us out of this mess. We have to get ourselves out.
regards,
saras
