Has anyone here or does anyone know of someone that has received a no objection waiver to their 2 year home residency requirement. Specifically someone that was funded by the government?
I'm in such a situation and firmly believe that returning to my home country for 2 years will significantly hamper my research career (based on lack of facilities and companies in my field back home). Is it worthwhile me explaining my situation to my countries embassy here in DC, or am I wasting my time?
