Any effect of H-1B withdrawal?

Guys/Gurus ... would appreciate your comments on this.

I have changed job recently (less than a month) using AC-21 ... with my 485 pending for more than 16 months (I-140 was approved even before I applied for AOS). My RD is May 2003 and I am hoping to get approved soon like many others here. I had H-1B all along (in my 5th year now) and will be using EAD now.

I left my original company on very good terms and they have promised not to withdraw the approved I-140. Moreover, they have already provided me the copies of LC and I-140. However, the company is going to submit application to withdraw the H-1B petition/LCA as they would no longer be employing me as an H-1B worker.

Can this have any adverse effect on my pending 485? I should be safe about my 485 because of AC-21 ... however, I am concerned if the H-1B withdrawal will result in an additional RFE etc. Does any of you have any experience with this? Also, how long should this H-1B withdrawal take, and will USCIS actually match up the info with my pending 485?

Which I you can produce I assume. Use your EAD and send AC21 letter before when you receive RFE.

Is 485 RD May 2003? if yes then you are safe to work on EAD. withdrawal of
H1 application will have no effect on ur AOS. If u wish to still maintain H1
status instead of EAD then do a H1 transfer ASAP.
