Any EB3 (retrogresd) got RFE for 485? Why?

One of my friend (retrrogressed, EB3). His PD is not current. He was about to file for Ac-21 and this has set back his plans.

He applied for EAD renewal and got a RFE for 485 (paystub and W-2)


Any reason why is the RFE? What will they do after receiving the documents?

Anyone who is in similar situation?

I also read couple of posting with same case as your friend. dont know what is the reason.. by the way what is your freind's PD?
 
Even if you are is retrogessed your case sahll be processed. USCIS shall process 485 application and if officer think that this case can be approved, then your case will go to "Regrogreaation Department" and sits there until your PD is reached.

So it is very important that you answer RFE as soon as possible so that your case will be approved when PD is available.

When USCIS is processing a 485 application, it does not mean that he/she have PD.
