Any EAD Approvals from VSC for November 1'st Filers

I have no news yet on my EAD. End of November, I got my I-140 approved but EAD is still pending :confused: . Any approvals from VSC for November 1'st week Filers ? Website says that its processing November 15'th for almost 4 weeks now. Status says its taking between 60-90 days

My Notice Date was 11/12/2004 at VSC. I am just hoping to get it soon. Does the 90 day rule start from the Receipt Date or the Notice Date. ? :confused:
 
I think it starts from receipt date .. I heard from one of friend , if you go to local office after 90 days they are giving EAD card for just 3 months ... May be it will also differ from office to office.. I am not sure ..

My EAD dates:

RD -12/20
ND - 12/23
AD - 01/26
Received EAD plastic card on 01/31

thank you, My receipt date was 11/2/2005, does it mean that I can go for an interim EAD tommorow?
 
I think there is no rule on processing dates there. My wife's EAD and AP are approved within 2 weeks. We applied on Jan10. 2005 and got it on 01/21(EAD) and 01/25/05 (AP)

thanks for the reply Dahlia, Just a quick question, was your ND 11/7/2003 or 11/7/2004, if thats the case did it take over a year for your to get your EAD? How long does it usually take to get the FP Notice , Any Idea ?
 
11/7/2003 is the date of my 140/485 application.

I was talking abt my second EAD/AP which I filed in Jan. 2005. Since my 485 got approved in Januray 2005, they didn't approve my second EAD/AP. But they approved my wifes EAD/AP in 2 weeks. She is getting an RFE on 485 though. Hope this is clear.

sorry, no idea about how they process FP's.As I said earlier, there is no consistency whats so ever in these cases. My theory is that if you are lucky u will get it soon :-)

Mad526, there is nothing to worry about. just make an appointment on the website ASAP. and go to your local office to get an interim EAD. have your 485, 140 approval, and your EAD with you. your receipt date is Nov 2, so you can go anytime starting tomorrow. good luck

Thanks a lot for the information. I am just hoping to get the actual EAD anytime. Lets see what happens ? Have you applied through the VSC too?

I actually applied through TSC back in October, so mine is older than yours. I don't know why they are late in processing this simple application. sometimes I think that they loose stuff and they don't wanna accept it. anyway at least we have alternatives.

I recommend you schedule your appointmet anyway, just in case. if you get your actual EAD in the mean time, no problems then.

You are correct, I will try to schedule an appt using the infopass online website. I just hope that things work out. Whats makes things strange is that I-140 & I-131 are approved and EAD is still pending. Do you want approximately the FP notices come ?

Mine is RD 12/28/2004 and ND is 1/10/2005.

Got LUD's on 1/28/2005 and 1/31/2005. No updates and no status change.

Waiting for EAD.
