Hi Guys,

Any EAD/AP' s approved from NSC recently..I applied myne on March 18th..any idea how long it will take!!?

I applied mine on Feb 17th via online. My current EAD has expired today (Apr. 11), I am just praying it will come soon.
 
Folks, would appreciate if others chimed in with their experiences. Anyone file with MSC in Feb and received their renewal? Was it online or paper?
 
Yes, My wifes

My wifes EAD has been approved on April 7th.
NSC received the application in March 7th., So it is like one month exactly.
 
Indokiddo and GC_008 did you guys paper file or online?

This is so frustrating. I should have paper filed since it seems to be faster processing.

I applied online on Feb 17th and my EAD expired on Apr. 11...just sitting at home waiting.

Does anyone know any processing timeframes for EAD renewals filed online?

you should know that it takes anywhere between 90-120 days to approve an EAD, you applied on Feb 11'th, when you knew that April 11'th your EAD expires. now you cant even get an interim EAD till the 90'th. you should have applied in Dec. Your lethargy cant blame the INS. Dont take it personally

Hey Mad526,

Its not my lethargy, its my lawyers fault. I had brought this issue with my lawyer in December who advised me (operative word being 'advised') that my GC should be coming soon. By the time I realized it was a little too late and I ended up applying in Feb. I have since filed a grievance against my lawyer who has not really done much for me to date.

Secondly, having to worry about my EAD and sitting at home is bad enough. I don't appreciate someone on the forum calling me out as lethargic and trying to throw the entire blame on me. It does not help the situation. As the addage goes, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." Hope that is clear; oh yeah..don't take it personally.

Updated again:

EAD Renewal was approved. Status changed again this afternoon at which point it read as follows:

"On April 19, 2005, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready."

Does anyone know what is the next step in the process.

I know someone had posted the steps earlier, but I just can't seem to find it.

Nothing much now .... you'll get the card at your home address within a week or so.
