Any Dec 2001 filers waiting for their files to be opened?

Hi my file is not opened yet. There is no RFE or 2nd FP or Approval? Is something wrong ? Is anybody in the same boat ?Also December 2001 filer, but I’ve had 2 RFEs and a 2nd FP (just yesterday).
You may want to call BCIS and inquire about a 2nd FP. Mention that yours have expired and what is the status. I called a month ago to check up on an AP application that was pending for over 7 months. As expected the operator didn’t know anything and simply launched an inquiry. A few days later, I received a letter from BCIS stating that my case was still pending. I was approved for the AP a couple of weeks later. I don’t know if the inquiry had anything to do with it, but it didn’t hurt. You may wish to wait until October and then give them a call. As you can see, our cases are just starting to get picked up on in many instances.

I've had the same job (and cubicle).
1st RFE: proof of employment and that employment was permanent.
Reply: I had my employer draft a letter stating my current salary (which fortunately was significantly higher than the one use to file for labor) and mention that they were employing me on a permanent basis.
2nd RFE: proof of compliance with Special Registration. I am from Bangladesh.
Reply: I photopied the front and back of my I94. I also drafted a letter stating the information (FIN, date of registration).
The two RFEs were received within a month. When I received the 1st RFE, I asked my lawyer to send proof of RFE. She forgot and later assured me that it wouldn't be necessary. I would advice anyone who received an RFE to send proof of special registration if applicable. BCIS should be able to look up this information by entering your A#, but no need to take a chance.
