Any deadline for name check?

Everytime I checked my case was under "security check".
Does anyone know that if there is a deadline for security check for FBI and how long usually it take for a security check?

How do you know your case is under "security check"? Does your online status say that? Or is it what you get from the IIO by calling them? But, the normal response from IIO is just to read out what the online shows.

Just wondering how you know that your case is waiting for security check.

I also tried to know my status for security check. I have left a voicemail and FAXED them too. But, no reply yet after two weeks.

Have you called the FBI on 202-324-2399 and followed up. If I am not mistaken 'wait600days' was also held up in this stage. Search for posts by him and get proactive.
