me and my wife had an interview August 2006. Since then basically all I heard was background checks (each month on INFOPASS) -- three of them: FBI, board patrol, 3rd party agencies.
On July 2008 we got letter to furnish more evidence, the same staff like for the interview, joint documents, tax returns, leases, insurence, bla bla bla..
We collect all package notarizing Affidavs etc and our attorney sent it out mid August. Since then we got no letters, nothing. The package was sent out certified and delivered to the USCIS office.
Question: what should one expect after 2nd RFE? some kind of recepit that they got it?
Another question: my understanding is that people got RFE no. 2 after they been married for two years, to remove 2yrs conditional on their GC. We were married 9/6/2005 -- therefore it does not look like the purpose of the 2nd RFE was anyhow related to that reason. What is your opinion on that?
