Hi Guru's

I know there are many threads about AC21 portability when you lose your current job but can anyone advice me based on my current situation given below, what are the implications if I leave current company to grab a better opportunity in a different service center region.

Concurrent - 485 RD - 09/2002

140 Approved - 06/2003

As you know that AC21 is not very clear for anyone, not for us and I am sure not even for the officer who is going to work on your case. Moreover, you yourself is the best person to decide on whether to go for AC21, weighing all your options. There is definitely risk or complications involved. Let me put it in three catagories.

High - RFE, transfer to local INS, interview, Approval
Medium - RFE, Approval
No Risk - Approval without RFE

These risks may or may not directly linked to AC21.

Think about what you are going to gain, risk involved and whether the gain worth the risk and decide by yourself.

Please consult with a lawyer before you final decide to go for AC21. GOOD LUCK
