Any advice appreciated

I have my AOS interview in Saint Louis on June 20 and I have to travel to Europe the week after the interview on my job. My H-1B stamp expires this month. My question is after the interview, does the officer usually take the Advance Parole documents? And, I don't know if it is DO specific, is it?

ask for an I551 stamp...since uare travelling, they might give it.
