Any advantage on shifting from H1 to EAD ?

Hi Guys,
can anyone tell me advantage of shifting from H1 to EAD (given the fact that H1 is valid for another 2 years) if you are working for same employer who filed your GC application.
I believe its better to stay on H1 Status as long as possible so that you don't have to worry about renewing your EAD and AP every year.
Do anyone disagree with me ?

Unless you want to work two jobs at the same time, H1 is your best bet!
