Any advantage for concurrent filers?

HI,

For those of us who have filed concurrently, is there any advantage at all from the time savings point of view? From the petitions that are getting approved, it seems like they have in processing them for 12-15 months. What about those who filed after 7/02, when the concurrency rule came into place? Anyone seen any improvement in the speed of processing?
 
Sure there will be.

Jan 2001 Filers were getting their approvals with in 6 months.
It is 12-18 months for Nov 2001 filers.
For July 2002 Hmmmm It could be 36-48 months.....a definete gain of 24 months

Just kidding man.... With increasing back log, there may not be any other than that you can apply for EAD along with your 140. But remember that the backlog increase is just 10% over an year and it is not that significant.
