Any 485 Approvals for EB3

Hi All,

 Any approvals for the EB3 category with Rcpt# SRC-00-063-xxxx ??. When I called an IIO, he says that they are still processing July\'99 cases.

My I-485 receipt date is Dec\'1999.

Don\'t know if any of you guys had this experience.

My 485 application was filed in Nov. 1999 (EB3 category) at TSC.
Haven\'t gotten the approval yet. In the meanwhile, my fingerprints
expired last month (I cannot believe that fingerprints can \'expire\'

My attorney keeps telling me that he has faxed letters across to TSC
about this, asking either to (a) expedite the 485 process or
(b) Send a letter for renewal of fingerprints, and so far TSC has
JUST NOT RESPONDED.

My fear is that if I do not receive any letter for renewal of FP, my
485 approval will be further delayed.

Any of you faced this problem ? Any solutions/advise ?

Hi texas desi:

Just take your copy of old finger print notice to the INS finger printing place and ask them to take your finger pritns again. Atleast that is what I did. My finger prints had expired in April 2001...

Not sure where I read this (If my memory serves me right, it was
either on the documents that came with the letter for the
fingerprinting appt. or one of the Forums), that fingerprints are
valid for 15 months from the FP date. (FP date - the date that you
actually went in to the INS office to give your fingerprints)

Hi uttine,

Mine is also electronic finger print, but i spoke with iio last week
and he told me that my finger print get expire on June-15th.
