are there any VSC I485 filers still there,
-I filed I-140 Aug 2000 and was approved Sep 2001.
-I filed I-485 Oct 2001, RD is Dec 2001.
-My wife filed I-485 Feb 2002
-We did 2 fingerprints so far, last in Nov 2003
-I obtained 2 Work authorizations.
-Reported the delay many times to the INS phone system and one time in writing. They once responded that my case is delayed because the routine security checks are taking longer than they anticipated due to the lack of manpower.
-Wrote to both the Congressman and the Senator, didn't get much help at all.
-I will be filing for third work authorization in a month and will probably do another fingerprinting soon too.
Please advise with any ideas or suggestions to expedite the process, I'm really desperate.
