any 2001 case in same boat...

It has been a long time since i received any communication from TSC.
I had done my 1'st F.P on Nov 2002.
I approached Local service center in memphis to inquire about my case and officer was kind enough to redo my F.P.
I then called NSC inquired them about my case and informed them about my 2'nd F.P.
Web site changed for about 6 continuous days till thursday last stating that on Aug XX,2004 we have received your F.P.
XX- showed current day.
It did not change on Friday last.
I do not know if anyone is looking at my case.
Please reply if anybody has had similar experience.

I am one of the unfortunate 2001 filers but got approved recently- thank God! I suggest you contact your Congressman for help. It did help in our case I think. Also, don't pay too much attention to the USCIS website message. My spouse's status was updated everyday following our 2nd FP for 45 days. And even after our cases were approved and passport stamped, the status still says "FP received". I have a feeling that updating such old cases is not the top priority of the USCIS. Good Luck

RFE sent once for me and twice for my wifel. They achknowledged it too.
Now there is nothing else going on? When do I call teh 800 number back for inquiry? Whats the next step for me?
In teh mean time I applied for my 4th EAD! My wife's got approved and we got the card 2 weeks ago, nothing on mine yet!

I would say try to ask your lawyer to contact the AILA liaison, and also you can try your local congressman, that's all you need to do at this stage, not sure it works or not, but at least you tried.
