Anxiious...obsessed...scared..waiting for Nov Bulletin

Me too....

I too am among the many folks who is looking forward to the November Bulletin...

If not current atleast looking forward to some positive progress for EB3 category.

Good Luck to All!!!

current is too optimistic!!

I would be happy if it moves to 2002.
Because my PD is 2002 ;)

Based on my previous experience it might take about 7 years to move to 2002. I have gone thru this therefore can say this..

Catdog, you are making a fool out of yourself. Previously retrogression has never lasted more than 1 to 1 1/2 years. Heres a sample historical data http://immigrationportal.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=13064 .

No one is listening to you and you are unwanted here. You are a loser, that is why you are not doing what are you supposed to do and wandering in this forum, making us all aware of how big loser you are ;) . So please shut up and get lost.

No point fighting on dates..when we least expected it, it retrogressed back by 6-7 years.

Now, we hope it gives us similar pleasure by moving forward quickly as well.

Neither you nor me or others on this forum control it.

It is all frustration coming out...but yet it is better to be balanced..

I am fighting this battle for last 5 years.

All the best to everyone..including me...

Priority dates

In my 10 years in this country, 7+ years since I applied for GC, pd has been curren tfor many years and it has retrogressed many times - bottom line is it has not made any difference to me. I am still waiting 2 years after filing for 485 (retrogressed again). There is no hope. I know people who have got approved in less than a year since filing for 485 with a bought out approved labor. I have my own labor approved 7 years ago and I-140 approved 6 years ago. Shame on the system. Surely you have better justice systems in other countries.

Guys....I am done then.
Mine is May 2003....

What should I do now...just wait...wait ....wait.....

Sick and tired......enough is enough......

How come we Indians are so patient...and why did we come here when we have a developing country.....answers please.....the current economy does not seem promising in US....yet we still want to win the GC race...is it all worth it.

One of you have said....that there are opportunities here....but since we were raised in India....we are able to separate the good and bad.....but what if I raise my kids here.....will they be alike us in US......i doubt it....

Opportunities can go either way....mature answers please....

h1empl...question...if your 140 was approved in 1999 what was the reason for you to wait till 2003 to apply for 485 ?...just curious.

Thanks..

Wait and see ...

danp,

I understand what you are saying my friend. All of us happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time (atleast our 485s seem to be :). As bleek as things look right now, I do not believe that this retrogression will continue to be this bad indefenitely. I do not forsee major improvements in the near term (3-4 months) but in about a year, things will not be as bad as they are right now. This is my assumption. I do not have high hopes for the Nov or Dec bulletins. Jan may be better.

As for your question about why we came here. I think everyone has a different reason. There is no answer to this. People make all sorts of choices in their lives and second guess themselves all the time. It is fruitless to do this. Its best to try to make the most of the choices one has made and learn from the mistakes. If it gets out of control one always has the option to go back to their country.

As for kids being raised in this country. They will not be like us but it is not impossible to raise a child with the right priorities in life. It will be tough but its not impossible by any means.

I know its hard to be patient and positive these days but we have to force ourselves to not let this ruin our lives. Each day that passes is not going to come back. Why ruin it by worrying about the GC. Its easier said then done but thats the only way out for now.
