INS/USCIS has pretty much halted green card processing and I don't know when it will resume. The president's new budget proposes new money for the immigration service and promises to speed up processing, but I doubt it will happen before the new fiscal year begins (October 1, 2004). My guess is it will take another 10 to 12 months.

We have seen about 14 approvals of people belonging to this forum in this month already. So I doubt approvals have frozen, they are infact better than what they used to be a few months ago.

And since your entire premise is a guess, would you mind adding the appropriate tag preceding your thread header, "SPAM/RUMOR".

It doesn't get any more real than this forum. People are posting approvals of their cases like we have never seen before.
People are hanging by thin threads & here you come and GUESS
that it will be delayed another 10-12 months.
