ANother TN Extension Question - NAICS code

Hi everyone,

I have appreciated the information available here. It's a good forum. When filling out the I-129 with the company, how do I select the NAICS code?

My company Title is Implementation Engineer (on my last TN support letter), and my internal title now is Director of Wireless Services. I am an Electrical Engineer by education, and the position involves implementing wireless technology and enterprise software (effectively a systems integration or engineering position as I interpret from the NAICS codes available), in addition to product management, and system, and the company is a software development firm.

I am very uniquely qualified for this job, and there has been no issue applying for the TN at the border (this will be my third time applying, but the first by mail), however I am unsure whether to select a NAICS code based on my education (electrical engineer), or current comany (software development, wireless technolgy implementations, systems integration), or my position as it is conducted internally.

I have no question that the TN is appropriate, and that the work I am doing fits my degree and experience, but I am confused about the NAICS classification as it is not abundantly obvious to me.

The NAICS is relevant to the position for which you are being hired, not your education nor the industry of the hiring company.
