Another reason for delay

After many attempts to get info on my case a walk-in by my lawyer to VSC revealed that my childrens files have been separated from my wife and mine (ie mislaid :( ).
My case is with an examiner but is on hold until they have located the files. With 1.8 mill cases pending that may take a while :confused:
I have passed my 20 month today. I wonder how long I have to wait :confused:
 
My lawyer travelled to VSC and talked to a supervisor (Two attempts first without appointment, 2nd with)
 
Yes, I am kind of happy too if it was not for the delay.
This is my second lawyer. The first one was below average.

Do your live near Vermont ? I can't believe that any lawyer can be so good :D . Most of the people here had very bad experiences with their lawyers and their body shopping companies. Very rarely we find good people in these two categories.

If Doctors T post is authenticate, it is really a good news for the people like us. I don't mind paying the lawyer to visit vermont office.

Why do I need lawyer to visit the BCIS? I can go there
myself.

Any difference between lawyer visit and applicant visit?

I do not know how to do it. I am sure that the lawyer do not want to reveal his secrets.
I guess it is a matter of network and persistence.

Yes, I agree good immigration lawyers are hard to find especially now when the process has become more tedious.
 
Doctor T, maybe you lawyer wanted to have a vacation in Vermont and thus can charge you for the vacation package?
