Hi Guys,
Since puzzles seem to be the latest gig, here is one teaser for the "brainy/analytical" guys and gals out ther.

There are 10 separate heaps of coins each having 10 coins.
There is one heap of coins that is fake and the rest of the nine heaps are genuine.
The genuine coins weigh 2gms. each while the fake coins weigh 1gm each.
You have a weighing machine and are allowed to use it ONLY ONCE and can weigh any number of coins in that one chance using any permutation/combination.
The question is how will you determine what heap has the fake coins by using that one chance to weigh the coins??

Good Luck!!!

;)

take one from one two from two, three from three... etc. etc. etc. and weigh

at the end when you weigh you will be short by "x" and you will know which is which

thanks

Absolutely right! This is a good one.
Thanks.
