Another Friday Gone? 14+ months estimate

Another Friday has come and gone and most October 2001 filers are still waiting.

There are 5 working days next week and then the Thanksgiving week begins where there may be at best 2 working days considering people taking time off from work. (This may also be the end of processing 9/30/2001 cases).

Once those 7 working days are gone we go into December where October cases will probably officially start and we could see some action for the first 3 weeks (12/2 through 12/20).

It is hard to see any November cases get approved before 2003 Jan end or Feb.

This wait is constantly increasing with each passing week!!!

Lets hope the VSC bucks this trend and goes back to their promised 6 month schedule within the next few months
 
I guess atleast 40% of September guys are still waiting to hear any thing. My RD is sep 25th. I consider my self lucky if I hear something from INS before Jan.....Sad but true.

Will I be one of them ? Just curious.:(
 
Oops - The news is still worse!!!

I though September 2001 cases were more than 60% processed. probably in the 80-90% range.

You are probably right, if that's the case then we October filers should only see action in January 2003.

I was being stupidly optimistic . I should know better based on all the time I have spent reading 000's of messages, articles, lawyers commentaries etc.
