Another computer glitch?

Hi, friends,

I think I might have got the same computer glitch as many other people on this forum have experienced.

I e-filed EB1A 140 on 01/19/2007, upgraded to PP 02/28/2007, PP was received 03/01/2007, and online case status changed to "Request for Premium Processing" the same day (03/01/2007), there was a LUD today, but message was the same as yesterday.

Today my attorney received 2 emails from TexasPremium.Processing@dhs.gov, the first one was a receipt notice, 2 seconds later, came the Arroval notice. I can not believe it, then called the servce number for PP, and was told it might be a computer glitch. I guess I will have to wait till next week.

Please comment, thanks,

Keep my fingers crossed

Yes it is a computer glitch

Reports such as yours have been happening since last September/october when they opened but the e-filing and premium processing for some I-140s. I happened to me as well. I can't believe they have not fixed this error for the past quarter. Please forward your approval email to "TSC-Premium.140@dhs.gov" and tell them to look in to this email glitch. Trust me, the email folks are responsive. Yes they do take up to an overnight time to respond, but they do respond. It must be embarassing for the USCIS folks for not being able to fix it.

Thank you niwnow.

I will email them the problem right away.

hey gc_er,
In my case, I got the reciept of PP email at 4pm and approval email at 8.15 pm unlike yours where it was within 2 seconds. I noticed that the ppl who pick up your call look into the same website to check the status so unless someone updates it does not reflect, they are not the pp folks. I suspect PP might be propagating the case status later to CRIS which sends out a separate notification independent of TSC-Premium.140@dhs.gov

They might have updated the statuses after processing your case. I suspect a human needs to update the case like a assistant who might be doing a batch update as we still lag in the IVRS (interactive voice response systems)

Dont worry it might be a approval infact.

Hi, permfiling,

Hope things are like what you said and hope it is a REAL approval.

Wish I will get good news next week.

Hey guys,

I got the same computer glitch. I send my I-140 for PP, and received today both, the receipt notice and approval notice.
I think it is a computer mistake.
People on this forum were reporting to check the status online.
How does this work? Where do I check my online status?
Thanks!
AGM6

Similar situation here, Last month I got the approval email 2 seconds after the receipt email. The real approval email came a week later from CRIS.

Best of Luck

Thanks!
Actually, I found out now that it is indeed a computer glitch.
I had send my supporting documentation per priority mail (no signature required) to the indicated P.O.box to TSC. However, the USPS tracking system tells me that the package could not be delivered and that a delivery notice was left instead.

What is the problem, any ideas?
What to do?

Thanks!

Hi AGM6!

Relax, you didn't do anything wrong... Check my adventures with the USPS tracking information here http://immigrationportal.com/showpost.php?p=1618785&postcount=21.

If tomorrow morning you don't get an update that the package was delivered, call USPS at the 1-800 number you'll find on their site, talk to a customer representative, and ask for the phone number of the post office that should have delivered the documents to the PO Box. Then call that office and ask them to check if the package was delivered. I bet it was delivered and they just didn't update :) .

I don't know what they are doing... My online message said that they will keep the package for 5 days and then return it to me. When I called I was frantic, and kept telling them those were important documents that were supposed to be delivered to a governmental agency, and I didn't want them kept for five days in a postal office.

Good luck!

The exact same thing is happening to me
