Here's another classic from BCIS/USCIS:
I filed for I-140(for myself) , AOS, EAD for my wife and myself. I got two receipts for EAD. This was good except that BOTH the receipts had my wife's name on it !!!!
Upon examining the receipts I found that the A # assigned is the same but the LIN numbers are different.
My lawyer has since written to the BCIS to correct the error.
Has anybody come across such a situation ?
