Folks,

 Am kinda happy although its a pain being laid-off.
 EB2 RIR, INDIA
 RD 04/01
 ND 04/19
 EAD/AP - received sometime in AUG/SEP 2001

 Sent FAX on 08/01 requesting an FP notice and I believe this helped...
 FP 08/08(scheduled for 10/31)
 I think doing FP ahead of schedule(2 months earlier) caused an RFE..
 RFE responded 10/27
 AVM updated with RFE response 12/29

 Sent FAX on 01/05 for Level 1 inquiry and I believe this helped...
 AVM says case approved 01/22

 Will wait for the approval notice in mail...
 Am not on CIBA\'s list, since the list AS IS was growing bigger but its
 a one heck fantastic job that CIBA has been doing....
 I believe CSC is moving forward with all the RFE cases and March/April
 Notice Date folks should expect approval soon.

 Called IIO several times(maybe 20-30) during the past 3 yrs and personally
 I feel calling them does not affect our application, again its only
 my gut feeling...

 Will post my experience after PP stamping in San Jose..

Why type of RFE?

Hi, can you share what type of RFE you got, such as employement, W2, marriage certificate ...?

Hi Second,
When you filed for 485, did your lawyer include your W2s, tax returns, employment letter, pay-stubs ? I am wondering whether the INS require another set of these document after certain period of pending time.

ChrisSu, NO.The lawyer did not include any W2s, tax returns,or pay-stubs..Am not sure why INS requires it but in my case doing early FP caused an RFE i guess and so they wanna make sure that u r still employed and hence the W2s, tax, pay stubs...

Nancy, YES, i requested the lawyer few times to send a FAX and this board has been helpful in making me SMART..;)
Infact, you can fill-in the form and Fax yourself..there is no need for a lawyer..

albertzou, I dont remember the Fax # of the format of the form..I searched the archives on this board and thats how I found out..

 I received the approval copy in mail..Should I wait for the original
 copy from the attorney or can I use my copy for passport stamping.
 MY service center is San Jose.

passport stamped at san jose this morning

Folks,
 
 Reached INS office on Monterey Road this morning about 5am, there
 were close to 30 ppl ahead of me...
 Got in at about 7am, was given a token #.
 token # called at 9am and was out within 5 minutes.

Qn. for Second Stage on Tax Returns

I am curious about the Tax Returns part. Which documents are you required to send in? (1040, 540 etc.)
