Anotgher Fp Code 1 Received (hopefully Final One)

Today I received code 1 FP notices for self, spouse, and two minor kids for 4/20/06. For me and wife it says finger prints on file have expired therefore need to take again. For kids it says need to capture biometrics. I didn't get the kids biometrics part because all of us already did this in August 2005. All notices also say that if we do not attend our FP appointments, petitions will be considered abandoned. Earlier FPs that we did said that we could go on any next wednesday bla bla bla... FP appointments received today are like an ultimatum.

Incidentally, today I wrote a strong letter to NSC requesting them to expedite the handling of my case because in their case status inquiry response of March 14, 2006 they said that this service is waiting for visa availability, which is totally incorrect because my PD has been current since January 2006.

As per senators staff my NC is still pending, they did send an inquiry to FBI to get the status of NC on March 31.

Hopefully your NC got cleared and so they have scheduled FP again to start working on your case. You can probably call the service center directly and check if your NC is cleared or what is going on.

Thanks eternal labor for your comment. This is what I surmised from the development, plus this notice says that ACS appt cannot be postponed. Will keep posting. Incidentally your time line of FPs looks somewhat similar to mine. Good luck.
 
i got my biometric-code 1 (fp 2) done last friday. my first fp was in may 2004. biometrics-code 3 in august 2005. like earlier fp's u cannot go on any wednesday for up to 3 months with this new notice. but it can be postponed if u have any wounds on ur fingers or something. i am retrogressed so may be thus is becoz of the preadjudication deal of uscis.
 
Code 1 biometrics, missed appointment, not in country

I have received Code1 Biometrics.
The notifications was sent dated 24th April 2006
I left for India on vacation on 30th and didn't receive the mail about the biometrics by then.

The date given was 4/7/2006, which i naturally missed.
The lawyer is working on getting a new date in May 2006.

I return back on 24th april, would i have any problems at port of entry??
Would my case be abonded? The notification apparently says so(i have a scanned copy)??
Has anyone been in a similar situation and came out without major issues?
